Remembering a summer night's sweet serenade

I remember exactly a year ago when he first wrote me a poem, yknow, when we were on that phase frittered with mozarella and parmesan. This poem is entitled Midnight Serenade and this was supposed to just beat a deal of exchanging poems and did not necessarily mean we had to write about the other person. But he did anyway.

Now, I realize that I’ve had that crazy grin for about a year already. Remembering those moments just widens the crazy grin even more. Anyway, I’m sharing this to the world and i hope to bring some romantic spikes onto your lazy summer afternoons. Here goes.

Midnight Serenade

As Luna draws near
The sky turns sincere
My star, there’s nothing to fear
I shall hold you oh so dear

A flower dwelling in silence
Yet it sways so violent
Let me love your existence
Under this shade, we are meant

No shame nor regret
You caress without stress
My flower, do not fret
I shall love you, no more, no less

And to add some more reminiscent feel to this post, here’s the link to my blog post instantly after I read this poem. Oh yes, this poem started it all, that’s why it’s very historic that I paid tribute to it. LOL! Something’s up!
