To a changed someone

The thought that I do not know you anymore hit me like a shot of a gun in the dead of the night. I just simply couldn’t deny it anymore. It’s crystal clear. Never thought I’d say this about somebody I’ve known all my life, who has always been incredibly close to me since day 1, someone who I thought to be so much like me. People do change, I guess, even you.
