Confessions of a Social butterfly
My friends complain about losing their social life, about not going out with friends, dealing with 9-5 jobs trapped in routine, without any hint of spontaneity. I, on the other hand, complain about losing my personal life, my special alone time of just puffing away every minute, resting and sleeping for 10-12 hours. I’m in a whirlwind of social events and engagements, but Boy am I so craving for some nice silent time of self pampering and not worry about squeezing in sooo many events and commitments in my short short weeks. Whew! Now I understand the challenges and adversaries of being a social butterfly. Surrounded by so many people, different places every time, different faces, and I display a different facade of my personality every time. Trust me, if you do not have a strong grip, you’re in danger to lose yourself.
