Farewell February Frenzy

Seeing the moon so bright and big and beautiful at 5:15 in the morning is yet another marvelous first. That is just the perfect way of starting another ambiguous month to come. Romantic, isn’t it?
Aah, the lovely month of February. Love is puffed and sniffed like cigarette and car smokes in the cities. Well, that is not really the most romantic comparison now, is it? My only point is, February 14th is not Valentines day anymore, thanks to the very creative minds of advertisers. It’s now FEBRUARY = THE VALENTINES MONTH. You’ll see all the malls in the entire metro embellished with hanging giant roses, chocolate boxes and red and pink hearts around the ceiling until the waxing and waning of the moon. And hear this, even up to the last Feb week, I’d still see couples walking while cuddling, the girl clutching around her arms a bouquet of red roses just bought from Holland Tulips, well, one could still see the label of the brand and the tiny droplets sprinkled on the plastic that embraces the bunch of flowers. I would always smile whenever I catch sight of them lovebirds when I go home on a regular Tuesday night.
And what other perfect way to give justice to the so-called “Love Month” is end it by attending a nice little wedding in the country. My my, you just gotta love Love.
And how about lovin’ the next month to come? The rest of March til Easter Sunday on Apr 4th is ABSTINENCE! So I gave myself a little break and pigged out today and start my pledge tomorrow.
